Glenwood TeamMates One-on-One School Based Mentoring TeamMates Mentoring is a one on one school-based mentoring program. All mentoring takes place at school during school hours.

Meeting at the school ensures the mentor and mentee are surrounded by resources and a safe space to meet. Our mentors are asked to commit to meeting with their student for no more than one hour per week during the school year. Becoming a Mentor - Responsible, caring adults age 18 years and older

High School Mentors —Important Info about Texting!

Just a friendly reminder that mentoring is a school-year-based program, so there should be no mentor/mentee texts taking place over the summer.

As you communicate with your mentee during the school year, please remember to make your texts a GROUP text and include Sandra.

Mentors:
If you're missing your mentee this summer and would like to stay connected, there is one way to do so.

Contact Sandra to get your hands on a postcard or two! Fill them out, return them to the school, and Sandra will address and mail them to your mentee(s). Feel free to complete more than one postcard and indicate when you would like each one sent.

While high school mentors are permitted to text their mentees during the school year, summer communication should take place only through postcards.

A big thank-you to Sandra for coordinating this extra effort and helping our mentors stay connected with their mentees throughout the summer!
