Cedar Creek State Park is proud to announce our very own “Almost Heaven” Swing! 🤩 Located by the ponds next to the park office, this iconic swing offers spectacular scenery of the water and surrounding hills ⛰️ while providing the perfect picture opportunity to capture warm memories while visiting CCSP! 📸A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 13, at 11:00am! All are welcome to attend to celebrate this awesome addition! 😁

Need a job? 🤔 Look no further! 🤩 Cedar Creek State Park is NOW HIRING CERTIFIED LIFEGUARDS for the 2026 season! 🏕️

🛟 (2) Certified Lifeguards 🏊‍♂️
Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
$13/hour 💵
Shifts are 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM 🕖

Hours can vary depending on weather, but typically range between 25-35 hours per week.

Applicants MUST currently be lifeguard certified or in the process of being certified by pool season in order to qualify. 🛟

Need certified? Glenville State University offers lifeguard courses this month! For more information, please email Kathy Gilbert at [email protected] 🏊‍♀️

As part of a nationwide effort to make fishing more accessible to the public, West Virginia’s Free Fishing Days provide a unique opportunity for residents and nonresidents to cast their lines in public waters for free without having to buy a fishing license.

Come on out to the ponds at Cedar Creek State Park this June and fish for free! No license required! 🤩
