The Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education and Kids Voting Arizona - Kids Voting Leadership Countil (KVLC) joined other civics organizations at the Cardinal's Civics Matters Summit. The KVLC members hosted a booth to engage students in civics trivia, encourage them to vote, and to explain the council. They also joined the Civic Shift session (thank you Valley Leadership) to facilitate a game about civic knowledge.

Help students celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Arizona 250 Youth Town Hall on October 21! Youth ages 12–24 will hear from leaders across all three branches of government, including Justice Kathryn H. King, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, and Representative Justin Wilmeth.

The event will be moderated by Blythe Brown, a former Kids Voting Leadership Council Chair and current college student, with questions led by Tysen, a high school student and the current Kids Voting Leadership Council Chair.

The Kids Voting Leadership Council had the opportunity to tour the Arizona PBS Station and learn about the vital role media plays in elections.

Thank you to Carol Yancho and Kim Flack, for being amazing tour guides and sharing their insights and to Mike Sauceda for being an engaging guest speaker! His expertise helped the council think critically about media's impact on civic engagement.
