Mustang Update:

One of the main things we train our horses for - mustang or otherwise - is to have manners on the ground. This skill is so important when working around children as our horses do at camp. Can we trust the horse to behave while being groomed? While being saddled? While the farrier or vet is working with him? While a child is petting him?

The mustangs are being trained for manners on the ground just as much as we're training them to be ridden by campers. Today's trim with Calen went very well for all four of them, showing how much they're learning in having ground manners!

Stay tuned for an update on prep for riding two of the mustangs and how that is going.

*In order: Alamo, Maverick, Messenger, and Shalom being trimmed.

We're HALFWAY to our GOAL!!!

We have 50 BAGS of SHOES filled! Yeehaw! Thanks so much to everyone who has donated shoes to our Shoe Drive Fundraiser this year.

Why we love your donations:
💚 Your donations help families in other countries with a shoe-selling business to keep them out of poverty. We partner with Funds2Orgs to make this happen and help others.
💚 Each bag of shoes earns funds for WLD Ranch too! In years past, we've been blessed with $500-$700 for the shoes collected. The more we collect, the more money raised for WLD Ranch's ministry!
💚 We're giving you a reason to declutter! We all have places in our house that just have clutter - shoes outgrown or not worn anymore now have a place to make a difference and it gets them out of your house. You're welcome. 😂

Drop shoes off at WLD Ranch (Fairview), The Federated Church (East Springfield), or Classic Image Salon (Girard). Willing to be a shoe drop off spot? Contact [email protected].

Keep those shoes coming!
