Just look at this room full of girls! ❤️ So many bright faces, good questions, and eager minds! Through our partnership with WRAPS, girls are learning about their bodies and receiving washable, reusable pads that help them stay healthy, confident, and safe.... in school.

Often the simplest things make all the difference. A little knowledge, the right supplies, and a whole lot of encouragement can go a long way!

Partner Spotlight - WRAPS. Education for girls helps keep them from the pull or position to live on the streets. But by 8th grade, many/most girls drop out in rural areas because they miss a week of school every month with their period. We proudly support WRAPs - that works to give every girl in those places washable, reusable pads and the body education that goes along with them. The results? 93% of the girls who get these kits are still in school 3 years later. A small thing... Lasting impact.

Beyond one-on-one and group counseling, what does trauma healing actually look like in action? For boys coming out of street life, it looks like time set aside weekly to just PLAY. To be a kid. Street life takes a child and forces them to grow up really fast - seeing, feeling and experiencing things that children should not have to. Healing takes time and relationships. Feeling really valued for who they are as KIDS! So play, art, counseling, faithful loving adults walking with them and cheering them on... brings LIFE back and healing. Make Your Mark Global

Inviting kids living on the street to come out of that into safety - where they learn, play, heal, and hear about the love of Christ. How do children end up living on the streets? Many aren’t orphans. Some run away or are sent from rural villages to the city in search of a better life. Others are trafficked or separated from their families by poverty, trauma, or crisis.

And once there, street life is more than a child should ever have to face.

Children shouldn’t have to live this way. This is our WHY. Our partners’ WHY. Our prayer partners' and supporters’ WHY.

Finally being seen. Learning about a Father and Savior who LOVES to the uttermost. New skills. A job. A chance to begin again…. For young women in Ethiopia coming out of street life and exploitation, these are more than milestones. They are steps toward lasting freedom, dignity and a future filled with possibility. Through our Ethiopian partners, young women are receiving vocational training, trauma counseling, and the opportunity to build a different future. And just think… we all get to be a part of that beautiful story of hope. ❤️
