Sharing on behalf of the Triton Amesbury Jr. Maples Hockey Program:

The Triton Amesbury Jr. Maples hockey program is a great way to introduce your child to skating and ice hockey. TAJM is based at the Graf Rink in Newburyport and prides itself on being an affordable, local place to learn to play hockey.

If your child is new to ice sports, Learn to Skate is a great place to begin.

If they’ve skated some but want to try hockey, the Little Bruins program is a great option. For $225, participants receive four weeks of on-ice instruction plus a full set of hockey gear from Pure Hockey—including skates and a hockey bag—a value of more than $500.

Little Bruins flows right into the Learn to Play program, which continues to build hockey skills and confidence.

Finally, the Mite Instructional League is a great introduction to competitive play and is an in-house league held at the Graf Rink.

We are looking for volunteers from 9 am - 12 am the first day of school to help with Kindergarten Kickoff as part of Kindergarten’s Get Aquatinted Day.
