We are needing volunteers to work the Indianola day celebration on July 25th. Shifts are 1:30-5:30 & 5:30-9:30. We are needing 5 kids per shift and 1 adult chaperone per shift. Please let Mr. Howard know if you are willing to volunteer. 217-264-1556

One of our alumni on a mission and getting it done!

Bouton graduated from Georgetown Ridge Farm High School in Georgetown, Illinois, in 2021. She is also a graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana, earning a bachelor of science in equine pre-veterinary science in 2024.

After our Section competition Wednesday, these are the top 5! Today we went to Bloomington for the State Livestock Competition. We had lots of fun and are very confident in how the kids did! Now we just wait for official results.

Results are in! We finished 36th today out of 115 teams! For the first time ever we earned a blue rating at the State Livestock CDE! We only missed the top 20 by 20 points! This is a 5 count 3 scores for the team total.

We competed tonight at the District IV Parliamentary Procedures CDE @ Richland Community College. This is the 7th straight appearance at the district level. The past two days have been busy for a few of our members. We left Georgetown Monday afternoon and headed to the state capital for Ag Legislative day! We had a seminar Monday afternoon, ate some dinner and headed back to the hotel for an early night.

Today we woke up and got ready to head back to the capital for some pictures, and to hand out a couple baskets to people! We also got to watch a session that was held and got recognized by our State Represenative of District 102 Adam Niemerg! We had so much fun and can’t wait for our next adventure.
