Gaylord Area Community Meal Program

The Gaylord Area Community Meal is a non-sectarian meal program. We offer a free meal every Friday at the First Congregational Church fellowship hall.

Doors open at 4 pm. Dinner is served at 5pm. Donations accepted but not necessary. Everyone is welcome.

✂️ What's Waiting at Project Connect? FREE Back-to-School Haircuts! 💙

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing local hairstylists, children attending Project Connect can receive a FREE back-to-school haircut. These talented professionals are donating their time to help kids walk into the first day of school feeling confident, proud, and ready to take on a new year.

⏰ Haircuts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When you arrive at Project Connect, stop by the haircut registration area to reserve a time slot. Just like a regular haircut appointment, there are a limited number of appointments available, so we encourage families to sign up early!

Project Connect is a free community event bringing together dozens of local organizations and resources all in one place. Along with free back-to-school haircuts, you'll find school supplies and backpacks, school enrollment, Head Start and Early Head Start registration, health screenings, job resources, document shredding, family services, housing and utility assistance, and so much more.

The menu is in for our Alpenfest dinner on July 17th we are having breakfast for dinner scrambled eggs, pancake, sausage, bacon, and fruit salad come out and check us out
