✨ Senior Sunday spotlight: Ms. Madeline ✨

Madeline was part of the very first class of students I ever taught, back before we were even on our nonprofit journey. 🩰 But even then, “Studio U” was always about YOU… growing confidence, finding your voice, and learning how to embrace exactly who you are. 💖

Madeline has been with me through all the changes, including the COVID-19 home studio lessons and she has stayed one thing through it all: FIERCE. She is the epitome of self-confidence and self-acceptance, and watching her step into who she is has been one of the greatest joys of my coaching journey. ✨

Madeline, you haven’t just been a joy to work with… you’ve pushed me to become a better coach and dance instructor. 💪💛 You’ve challenged me to grow, to be more intentional, and to rise to the moment — and I’m so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me over the years. 💖

And now… your senior season. Bittersweet doesn’t even cover it. This year you’ve tasked me with a TAP solo (tap is my favorite 😍) to Queen… because of course you did! 🥹🫶 You continue to push me to my limits and I’ll always push you right back, because I believe in you that much.

Our dance team little ladies absolutely shined at today’s Bake Sale! 🧁🎉 I had such a great time with them and am incredibly proud. Their confidence and leadership continue to grow through these hands-on experiences, and our community shows up for them every time. 💛

Madeline has been dancing with us since our very first season in 2011, and it’s been an absolute honor to witness her journey. From tiny steps 💕 on the original studio floor to preparing her senior solo this season, her passion and commitment continue to inspire everyone around her.

Even more exciting, Madeline is currently working on her Girl Scout Gold Award, and we are thrilled to support her as her mentor! Her project, rooted in the art of dance, showcases her heart for community, leadership, and creative expression. 💛
