Today, we’re celebrating some of the incredible work happening right here in Gaston County. From Arin’s Good Girl Dog Treats, creating opportunities, independence, and brighter futures through every batch, to the Gaston Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic, celebrating an incredible milestone of 100,000 spay and neuter surgeries, these organizations show just how meaningful an impact can be made, one person, one pet, and one act of care at a time.

Meet a few of the very important pups behind the Gaston Community Foundation. From rescues and hunting dogs to Sheepdogs with a little rock ’n’ roll history, these four-legged family members bring plenty of personality, love and, occasionally, a little chaos to our Foundation family. 💚

This year, Gaston Community Foundation awarded a $10,000 grant to Community Math Academy, helping local students strengthen their math skills before heading back to school. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, students are building confidence that will last far beyond the classroom.
