TRAIL CLOSURE NOTICE: the River-to-Ridge Trail between the Carmine Liberta Bridge and the trailhead at 41 Springtown Road, including the trailhead and parking area, will be closed to the public from the evening of June 2 through the afternoon of June 4 due to agricultural operations.

For safety, it is essential that the public obey all closure signs and barriers. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support of the trail.

Trailhead Update - Saturday, May 2:

🚧 The Testimonial Gateway Trailhead will be closed to visitors on Saturday, May 2, for Rock The Ridge.

Pine Road will also be closed on Saturday morning. Please stay alert for runners throughout the Preserve, follow all posted signage, and listen to staff directions.

TRAIL CONDITION - NOTICE:

Minnewaska State Park:

The following activities are not permitted during the winter season once snow and ice are present on the landscape: bicycling, horseback riding, rock climbing, and boating. These activities are now closed for the winter season and will reopen in the spring when conditions allow. Expect extensive melt and Spring Mud season. Please do not attempt to bike on carriage roads until biking is posted as open. Damage to carriage roads will take longer to repair, extending the closure.

Mohonk Preserve:

Please be advised that biking conditions and reports will be available soon. (officially from the Preserve) Conditions are decent at the moment, but with rain combined with freezing temperatures on the way, please be cautious of icy conditions.
