Community Outreach and Patient Empowerment (COPE) is a partnership with the Navajo Nation Community Health Representative Outreach Program to improve the lives of those living with chronic diseases in Navajo. We believe that the power to overturn long-standing, historical health inequalities lies inherently in Native communities themselves. COPE strives to promote healthy, prosperous, and empowered Native communities through three collaborative approaches:

1. Local capacity building & system-level partnerships; &
3. Eliminating food insecurity.

We so are excited to host our 8th Annual Cancer Survivorship Conference next week on September 29th and 30th at the Navajo Museum in Window Rock, Arizona from 8am to 5pm. This conference is geared towards community members and individuals impacted by cancer.
