What an amazing group we had today for our summer program. A total of 33 students participated in our interactive lesson, ice breaker activities, dinner and recreational activities.

Our lesson today was centered around “Understanding conflict and communication” we discussed what conflict is and why it happens, the importance of active listening and introduction to I statements. Participants left empowered and with a to go snack bag.

We are so happy to continue to empower the youth of the Hilltop!

We had a great time and even had a chance to talk with our sister and supporter Maria Mock leader of The All Purpose Center.
