Statement on No Call/No Shows and Late Cancellations
At American Warrior Outdoors, we are committed to providing valuable and enriching experiences for our veterans. Each trip we organize is designed to offer a unique opportunity for relaxation, camaraderie, and the therapeutic benefits of the great outdoors.
Unfortunately, no call/no shows and last-minute cancellations can significantly impact our ability to fulfill this mission.
When a veteran does not show up for a trip without prior notice or cancels within 72 hours of departure, it results in a wasted spot that could have been filled by another deserving veteran. Each spot is precious, and these late cancellations prevent us from reallocating resources and inviting another participant in time. This not only disrupts our planning and logistics but also denies another veteran the chance to benefit from the experience.
To ensure fairness and maximize participation, we have implemented the following policy:
First Offense: Veterans who fail to show up or cancel within 72 hours of a trip will be ineligible to participate in any of our trips for the next 60 days.
Second Offense: Veterans who commit a second no call/no show or late cancellation will be permanently removed from our participation list.
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we encourage open communication. If you find yourself in a situation where you cannot attend a scheduled trip, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make alternative arrangements.
Our goal is to provide these opportunities to as many veterans as possible, and your cooperation is essential in helping us achieve this. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Sincerely,
American Warrior Outdoors
