Please use care when submitting your animal photos for Market Lambs, Market Goats, and Market Hogs in FairEntry.
We have already had to reject numerous entries due to poor-quality photos. These photos are used to help verify that the animal exhibited at the fair is the same animal that was identified at the beginning of the project.
We are not asking for these photos to be difficult. Rather, they are an important part of maintaining a fair and ethical show for all exhibitors.
Please remember that the required number of photos serves a purpose. Do not submit duplicate photos in place of the requested views. Front, rear, left side, and right side photos help us identify unique markings and verify the animal throughout the project year.
When submitting photos, please make sure:
• The tag is readable and all digits can be seen.
• The entire female side of the Scrapie tag is visible for sheep and goats.
• The tag is clearly in the animal's ear.
• The animal's identifying markings can be seen.
• Only one animal appears in the photo.
• The required front, rear, left side, and right side views are included.
Taking a few extra minutes now can help avoid delays, rejected entries, and the need to resubmit photos later.
Thank you for helping us maintain the integrity of the Morrow County Jr. Fair livestock program.
