A note from our Founder.
This past Friday, as we concluded our morning service to the unsheltered community in downtown Columbia, we had a positive encounter with The City of Columbia police officers. Their approach was warm and courteous, greeting us and engaging in calm, professional conversation. Notably, they extended the same kindness to the individuals we served. Following a respectful discussion about trash issues, we agreed to take responsibility for cleaning up after our events, and we encourage other providers to do the same. When we collaborate with mutual respect, we pave the way for meaningful change.
