🐄🍕 LET'S GET A ROOF ON THAT ROUND BARN!! 🏠🔨
Larkfield/Mark West neighbors join us TODAY!!!

Wednesday March 4th to help bring back a piece of our history!
The iconic Fountaingrove Round Barn was tragically lost in the 2017 Tubbs Fire, but local architect, grapegrower, and dreamer Ken Moholt-Siebert has been hand-building a beautiful replica on his property near Santa Rosa. Now it's time to put the roof on — and the community is invited to celebrate and support!
Come hang out with us, enjoy pizza, beer & wine, and help raise funds for this special project.

15% of ALL proceeds from the whole day at Homerun Pizza go toward the barn!
Stop by for lunch, grab takeout, or stay 4-8pm for the gathering with Ken & Melissa ❤️
Direct donations welcome: buy raffle tickets, grab a glass Zinfandel wine from Acorn Winery, and more!

Let's show some love for our local landmark and the man bringing it back to life! ❤️

Good news story to take you into your weekend:

Sonoma County came together like no other after the Tubbs Fire.

Working through tremendous challenges and moving the recovery and rebuild forward in nearly record time.

Today, construction is just about complete on a new park (never existed before) with a brand new playground in downtown Larkfield. This project is 100% neighbor organized. The entire park has been led by the good and tenacious work of the Mark West Area Community Fund and the Mark West Area Municipal Advisory Council (along with hundreds of generous neighbors).

This is what community is all about. Grand opening soon - stay tuned. Congrats!

Need food assistance? We’re here to help.

In light of the pause in SNAP benefits, the Redwood Empire Food Bank has increased capacity at many of our distribution sites to ensure everyone has access to the groceries they need.

These two food distribution sites can accomodate more families:
> Spring Hills Church – 3700 Fulton Rd, Fulton | Every Monday | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
> Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building – 1351 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa | Every Thursday | 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Both locations provide fresh produce, pantry staples, and proteins—no appointment needed.

Looking for a different day, time, or location?
We have over 300 food distribution sites throughout Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte Counties—so one is bound to be near you!

Here’s how to find food near you:
1️⃣ Visit getfood.refb.org
2️⃣ Enter your address, ZIP code, or city in the Food Finder search.
3️⃣ Apply the “Groceries to Go” filter (under “More Filters”) to see Redwood Empire Food Bank–only distributions, or turn it off to view Partner Program sites hosted by other local pantries and organizations.

Registration:
> If you’ve received food from us before, you’re already registered.

Ever heard of an Honor Flight?

The Honor Flight Network is a nationwide organization that flies veterans to their respective war memorials. Since its inception in 2005, the organization has flown over 317,000 veterans to their memorials and back.

This year, our local chapter flight returns from Washington DC on October 15th and we need you to give these veterans they welcome home they deserve! Let's line Airport boulevard with signs, horns, and dozens of waving American flags. If you're interested in joining the cheering masses or helping out with the mission, hit the link below for more information!
