G) Public Comments on Non-Agenda Items:
This time is set aside to receive comments from the public regarding matters of general interest not on the agenda
but related to MWAMAC business. Pursuant to the Brown Act, the MWAMAC cannot consider any issues or act on
any requests during this comment period. Each person is usually granted three minutes to speak; time limitations
are at the discretion of the Chair.
H) Future Agenda Items: Potential items for future MWAMAC meetings:
1. Community Services District (CSD)
2. Possibility of an update: COPE program (Citizens Organized to Prepare for Emergencies) in Wikiup
(or Map Your Neighborhood) (TBD).
3. Possible community clean up? Maybe in partnership with the Chamber (TBD)
4. List of unmet needs projects for Larkfield/Mark West/Wikiup
5. Update: MAC Blue Book Bylaws
6. Update: Old Redwood Hwy. property and the Fire Department (Chief Bush)
7. Sonoma County Transit Enhancement and Active Transportation Study (TREATS)This is a comprehensive
study to evaluate and enhance transit and active transportation services throughout the County with a focus on
the Sonoma County Transit service area. (Also talk about traffic signs) (Spring, 2026)
