All expenses are out of pocket from management or volunteers. Though working here with these amazing animals is the most enjoyable work, it can be the most expensive as well. When coming out for a tour, we ask for our guest to bring a donation of at least $25 per adult and $15 per child. We require at least one days notice before scheduling a tour. Whether you are a couple, family with children o

r even a small or large business owner, your contribution goes a long way with these amazing creatures!!

Every day, our staff pours so much love, time, patience, and dedication into caring for each animal at Tails Of The Wild. From feeding and cleaning to enrichment, training, and those quiet little moments in between, the bond we share with them means everything to us.

🐒💚 Fun Ring-Tailed Lemur Facts with Ziggy! 💚🐒

Meet Ziggy, one of our amazing ring-tailed lemurs at Tails of the Wild!

✨ Did you know?
• Ring-tailed lemurs are native only to Madagascar.
• Their long striped tails can have 13 or more black-and-white rings!
• Lemurs use scent marking to communicate with each other.
• They are very social and live in groups called troops.
• Unlike many primates, ring-tailed lemur groups are usually led by females.
• They love to sunbathe, often sitting upright with their arms stretched out to soak up the warmth. ☀️
• Sadly, ring-tailed lemurs are endangered in the wild, making education and conservation incredibly important.
