Did you know the VA can pay for your healthcare degree? 🇺🇸🎓

The VA Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP) covers 100% of tuition and required fees, provides a monthly living stipend, and includes a book/supply allowance for students in high-need healthcare fields.

Eligible programs often include:
• Nursing (BSN)
• Nurse Practitioner (MSN/DNP)
• Physician (MD/DO)
• Physician Assistant (PA)
• Social Work (MSW)
• Psychology (PhD/PsyD)
(Exact eligible professions are determined by VA workforce needs each year.)

In exchange, recipients commit to working at a VA healthcare facility after graduation and licensure — typically a minimum 2-year service obligation.

This is a civilian VA program (not the military HPSP), focused on caring for Veterans within the VA healthcare system.

📅 2026 Application Deadline: February 27, 2026

If you’re currently enrolled in — or accepted to — an accredited healthcare program, this could significantly reduce or eliminate student loan debt while securing post-grad employment.
