Our goal is to create a foundation where students can strengthen their knowledge through participation in various Lao cultural functions and through learning of Laotian culture as well as promoting social networks and academic excellence. The organization is dedicated to the Laotian culture and is open to all Fresno State students.

[RETREAT RECAP ‘26] 📷

Accompanied by each other from start to finish, we have concluded a journey new to all of us. In ways we expect and don’t, we were able to continuously improve and build upon our own skill sets while working hard to be as one. Every single step of the way deserves a round of applause and a moment of celebration to remember efforts and to encourage ourselves beyond.

Thank you to each and every officer— because with you all, Lao Student Association was able to keep their grounds and hands together to build a stronger community, further resilience, and a bond—welcoming every individual interested in our organizations message and more!💗

Thank you to our amazing club members for sticking by til the very end and for always bringing in new energy every time we hold events from meetings to socials! We are excited to see and welcome you with big open arms next school year along with our 2026-2027 cabinet.

> Favorite memory: “My favorite memory of LSA was in 2024 when we collaborated with other Lao Student Associations of schools from different states to fundraise in support of those affected by Typhoon Yagi.”

As the year ends and graduate season starts, let’s appreciate and congratulate Sulee on her accomplishments, hard work, and leadership throughout the years! Lao Student Association will continue to recognize her for her dedication and commitment as well! Let’s all wish her the best and more during her new journey in achieving her masters. 🤍 Congratulations, once again!

This will just after finals week so, we hope to see you come by for a refreshing-yet fun field day; eating, chatting, & being active! 🏐🏈🏸
