The very last kitten from our last foster group officially found his forever home. With the white dogs of White Dog Farm.

Please meet Chili Friers, the newest member of our pack. I told him if he stays then he has to be as doglike as possible. Today we started walking him on a leash so he can join us on our nightly jaunts around the hood. I’ve fostered hundreds of cats and kept none. Until now. Guess there’s a first time for everything!

In one month our founder will be running the Columbus Half Marathon in honor of the dogs and cats that White Dog Farm Rescue helps each year. That’s 13.1 miles around Columbus! The funds raised from this will take us through the winter months when we supply straw to outside dogs who weather the cold and snow.

You donate $13 and she’ll run a mile for each of those dollars!

Someone come adopt this dude!

Chili is a typical five month old kitten that’s inquisitive and rambunctious. He loves new toys and out of everything we’ve bought for him to play with, a simple q-tip is his favorite and he can spend hours chasing it all over the house.

When he’s tired, he loves to snuggle. Like he’s a stage five mega clinger to his person. He’s happy to sit on your lap for an afternoon nappy while his purrs never stop.

He has grown up with two very large dogs that he adores. And he’s friendly to all new people who come and go from our home.

He still sleeps in his “apartment” at night and is fine going in around 11pm and will sleep until 7am before making a sound.

He’s litter box trained and has never had an accident outside the box. He enjoys his wet canned food for breakfast and will graze on his dry throughout the day. He also enjoys Temptations in the green bag.

Chili is an amazing boy. We’ve had him since he was just a week old and the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was probably one of my dogs and their tongue! Since then he’s become their bestie. Even if his foster sister doesn’t always think so!

Whoever ends up adopting Chili is getting an absolute gem of a kitten. We’ve all fallen in love with him and that’s coming from a certified dog lady! ❤️

It’s National Dog Day and we celebrated by getting these two cuties neutered! ✂️

Hopefully it helps Bagel the Beagle from marking all over my kennel and it keeps Doc’s little butt at home and not running the streets looking for ladies!

Honestly, who doesn’t want a cat that can put his entire leg behind his head??? Chili is still waiting for his forever family to find him. Until then, he’ll be chilling like this. 🤣

Chili went to an adoption event today. He growled at everyone, including small children, and hid in the back of his cage. We had a talk when we got home about behaving so he can find his forever family. Maybe he’s deaf like the dogs so he didn’t hear me tell him to be a good boy before he left this morning!

I’ve had him since he was three weeks old and I’ve never heard him growl. He’s sweet, loves to cuddle, will lay on his back to get belly rubs, adores all sizes of dogs and is great with my little neighbor girl. After today, I guess you’re going to have to meet him at my house because he acts a fool when he leaves. Someone come get this dude!!! 🐈 ❤️ 🌶️
