I wanted to make a post making everyone aware that there may be a delay in responses for a while. I'm sure some of you have already noticed and for that I apologize. But I'm currently tending to my personal cat, Weez, that had a major surgery and procedure on Wednesday at MedVet. Recovery is a bit complicated and I need to dedicate my focus to him right now.

I will still do all the things I can as far as app processing, adoptions, responding to messages, etc. But I am also a one woman show right now as Sawyer is on a very deserving vacation. I have my own family, fosters, and job. So please be patient with me is all I ask and thank you for your understanding. 🫶

Keep our sweet Genevieve in your thoughts. This weekend her appetite seriously declined and yesterday she stopped eating completely. She would lick the gravy from a few different foods but nothing more. We had her checked out today and did a kidney recheck and CBC. Her kidney values are elevated and have increased some. Clearly enough to make her feel unwell.

We aren't putting her through a lot at her age and given her disease. But, we did decide to give her fluids,ondansetron and mirataz as a last ditch effort to see if she bounces back. We have done this once before and we bought quite a bit of time. And it's been happy, quality time. She has always been happy and attention seeking while with us. 🥺

Tonight and tomorrow will tell us what decision we need to make. Whatever we do decide, suffering is not an option. So please send love and good vibes Miss Genevieve's way. 🫶

We can't believe we are still posting these sweethearts. These are fully vetted, young cats in need of their forever homes. They have been waiting patiently at We Lov Pets for a little over a month. They would make lovely, little fur children. They are both sweet and love attention. We are reducing their adoption fee to $75 or together for $100. Applications are still required, but we want to get these kiddos into a home like they deserve. 🖤
