An exciting day for Sneezy and his new parents!! His new mom fell in love with his picture on our page but wanted to meet some of our other adoptables.. needless to say, it was love at first sight 😻 happy life little guy and thank you for adopting!

A reminder for everyone else.. an adoption a day, keeps the doctor away! 🫶🏽

Hey Warriors, we need to have an honest discussion. Currently, we are closed on intake, with no end in sight. 😞 You may be wondering why. Well, where we are right now is not sustainable.

Adoptions are at an all time low. Donations are trickling and almost non-existent. Fosters are tired and full. We have a 2500 bill at Sugarcreek with cats and kittens that still need to receive more vetting (spay/neuter, vaccine boosters, Meadow's dental, follow up bloodwork for Hosta, etc). We have quite a few cats we would love to get scheduled to do TNR before it's too cold. And we still have the basic needs costs to cover of food, litter, p*e pads, blankets, and the list goes on.

Honestly, we can't go on at this rate and we don't know what's to come if things don't improve soon. 🫤 We currently have 24 cats and kittens in our care.

If you're wondering how you can help, here is what we need! Volunteers to foster and socialize kittens would be amazing! Sending items from our Amazon Wishlist would be super helpful also! Our biggest needs are Royal Canin dry food, p*e pads, and litter! Or if you can spare a few bucks and send them our way- it helps more than you know! We know you guys always come through for us and we could really use the support right now. Thank you to all of our loyal followers, previous adopters, and newbies here. You all are what makes CWW possible! 🫶

We stopped at We Lov Pets to see our adoptable kiddos today! D***y and Grumpy are still waiting for their perfect forever home! And we now have Ladybug there available to meet also! Stop down to meet them and apply to adopt! They're all little loves!!

They are each FeLV/FIV negative, spayed/neutered, and current on age appropriate vaccines and dewormed!

To the anonymous person or people that are making these nice winter shelters and leaving them at one of our colony locations- THANK YOU! 🥰It is so incredibly kind and we appreciate it so much! We know we need to change out the current ones we have had in place and this is one less thing we have yo do right now! This will also give the cats a chance to adjust before winter. Thank you again! 🫶

Some updates since I left yesterday's post pretty vague. 😓

Unfortunately, the kitten that was taken to AlterClinic for TNR yesterday had complications during surgery and post-op. I was notified and able to arrange transport to get her to me at work thanks to Jacque. Unfortunately, her breathing led us to taking radiographs that revealed pretty significant injuries consistent with being ran over. 😞 She had a diaphragmatic hernia with majority of her intestines located in her chest, making it very difficult for her to breathe. In addition, she had multiple pelvic fractures. With the severity of these injuries, we made the difficult decision to euthanize and not allow her to suffer any longer. We are so sorry Baby Ruth. 💔

We then decided to keep her sibling after her TNR yesterday. We were unsure how feral she would be, but turns out she is super grateful to be indoors and to receive love, so she is available for adoption. We are calling her Skittles. 🌈

Lastly, we are introducing Ladybug. She is a stray Dr. Megan recently took in to vet and is ready to find her forever home. She is super sweet and chirps when she greets you! Ladybug is a social little girl and loves to keep you company! We plan to take her to We Lov Pets in the near future if she isn't adopted first! 🐞

Everyone up for adoption are FeLV/FIV negative, received age appropriate vaccines, spayed or neutered, and dewormed. Adoptions are 100.
