Prettyboy Elementary PTA

Parent Teacher Organization for Prettyboy Elementary School When you join the Prettyboy PTA, a portion of your dues goes to the Maryland and National PTAs.

The Prettyboy PTA is comprised of Prettyboy parents, school administrators and teachers who work together to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning. The PTA sponsors activities that complement the curriculum, bring Prettyboy families together and are just plain fun. The Maryland PTA coordinates its efforts at the state level to influence legislation and policy to benefit all Maryland schoolch

ildren, including our children at Prettyboy. The Maryland PTA is focused on educational issues throughout our state and nation. As such, it serves as a liaison between the decision-makers and the schools. It disseminates information about the ever-changing educational system to the local PTAs while relaying feedback about the students, schools, and communities to those who establish school policies and curricula. What began as the National Congress of Mothers in 1897 has grown and developed into the National PTA. The

National PTA is a powerful volunteer organization working for the education, health and safety of all children.

🌞 HAPPY SUMMER!
School is out and our Meadow plants are in! 🌺 🌻
Every PBE student was able to be involved in planting this year thanks to our Green committee, the PTA, and plants donated by local businesses! We would like to thank:

- Kitchen Girl Farm donated 100 plants
- Maryland Flower and Foliage donated Fall plants, Black Eyed Susan's, & Purple Cone Flowers
- The Luecker family
- Mr. Bass and the Green committee

A solar powered irrigation system will be installed to help with watering over the summer!

If at least 25 people are interested we can place an additional order through LifeTouch. Pickup would be arranged in the summer.

You will be emailed a PTA invoice to pay (around $22) if we reach 25 orders.

Payment must be made by Monday 5/15 to get on the order list.

* Yearbook orders are usually through LifeTouch only in the late winter *

Everyone had an absolute blast at our Prettyboy Preakness and Talent Show this past weekend! Huge thanks to our Spring Fling committee who planned, organized and executed a pretty great event. Some lucky ducks even scored some awesome goodies from our Silent Auction! If you haven’t coughed up the cash for your auction winnings yet, kindly settle up via your winning bid email 💚
