at Timberbrook Farm is located in Freeland, Maryland, just 15 minutes off of I-83. Timberbrook Farm is an 80 acre horse farm convenient to Northern Baltimore County and Southern York County, Pennsylvania. We offer horseback occupational therapy services (known as hippotherapy) to help our clients achieve their personal goals by gaining confidence & independence, focus, motor skills, balance, strength, and more. Through the combined use of service dogs and therapy, we help our clients enhance their self-esteem and achieve their personal goals to become more independent.

🍂 Fall Festival Appreciation! 💚

As we celebrate the success of our Fall Festival, we want to give a special shout-out to the wonderful people who helped make it happen. Today, we’re showing our appreciation for Our Volunteers!✨

Our Fall Festival wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing volunteers! And while we didn’t manage to get everyone together for one big group photo this year (we were all a little too busy making the magic happen! 😉📸), we’re sharing a little throwback to last year’s Fall Festival to celebrate the wonderful people behind it all!

From helping guests find their way and keeping activities running smoothly to assisting with crafts, games, animals, and everything in between, our volunteers helped bring the day to life. Every helping hand, smile, and act of kindness made a difference!

It takes a village to create a welcoming space for our community, and we’re so lucky to have one filled with people who care so deeply. 💚

For many children and adults with disabilities, autism, or sensory and behavioral needs, community events can sometimes feel overwhelming or inaccessible. Some families miss out on these experiences because they worry about how their loved one might be received.

At Taking the Lead, we want every individual and family to know that they are welcome here, exactly as they are. 💚 There’s no need to fit a mold or be anything other than yourself. Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and sensory-friendly space where everyone can make memories, connect with others, and simply enjoy being part of the community.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and celebrated with us last Saturday! 💛 We’re so grateful to our families, friends, volunteers, vendors, and community members who helped make the day so special.

We had such a fun day filled with smiles, animals, activities, and lots of memories! 🥰

💙 COMMUNITY RESOURCE SPOTLIGHT: PATHFINDERS FOR AUTISM! 💙

We’re grateful to Pathfinders for Autism for supporting our Fall Festival and helping us connect families with valuable autism resources!

Founded in 2000, Pathfinders for Autism has grown into Maryland’s largest autism support organization, providing free resources, training, and a searchable provider database to help families and professionals navigate autism services. 💙

While the Pathfinders team will not be joining us in person, they generously provided resource packets that we’ll be handing out to visitors at the Fall Festival. Be sure to pick one up while you’re here!

We’re excited to welcome Foundations ABA to our Fall Festival! 💙

Foundations ABA partners with families across Maryland to provide individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and teens. Their family-centered approach helps children build meaningful skills in communication, daily living, emotional regulation, social development, and independence.

Their services are tailored to each child’s unique needs and can provide support across clinic, home, school, and community settings. Their goal is to help children and families build a strong foundation for growth, confidence, and long-term success. 🌱✨

Stop by their table at the festival to learn more and connect with their team!
