Charitable giving is often treated as a year-end decision—but it can also be part of a bigger long-term plan.

Questions like “How does giving fit into my financial goals?” or “What kind of legacy do I want to leave?” can help create a more thoughtful approach to philanthropy.

When financial advisors and community foundations work together, generosity becomes more connected, intentional, and sustainable.

Giving back doesn’t have to be complicated, but having a plan can make your impact go even further.

Whether it’s supporting causes year after year, creating a lasting legacy, or simply organizing your giving in one place, structured philanthropy helps turn good intentions into long-term community impact.

Because generosity is most powerful when it’s built to last.

🎓 A record-breaking year for scholarships!

For the 2026–2027 academic year, BBCF awarded $613,440.14 through 226 scholarship awards across 82 scholarship funds.

These scholarships represent more than financial support—they represent the generosity of donors who believe in the potential of local students and the future of our communities.

Congratulations to this year's recipients, and thank you to the donors, families, and scholarship committees who make these opportunities possible. 💛

If you give back, you’re already making a difference.

But a few simple questions can help take that impact further:
• Could my giving be more organized?
• Do I want it to last beyond this year?
• Is it aligned with my long-term goals?

Sometimes, it starts with a conversation.
