This past weekend scouts from Framingham Troop 78 enjoyed a wonderful night of fall camping and hiking at Purgatory Chasm! Our newer scouts also earned their Totin' Chip and Firem'n Chit - practicing wood tool and fire safety!

Hello all, so we just had the most fun weekend at Camp Resolute at :
🎸🎤🎼The Resolute Challenge !!!🎼🎤🎸IYKYK
So firstly we got to see our troops name on the very first plaque in the dining hall, the Puple Monkey Dishwashers.
This year the patrol was called:
Colourful Ape Appliances -we had 10 Scouts participating- Eliot, Desmond, Michael, Ruben, Max, Adrian, Carter, Sarah, T-Man and our newest scout Sam.
We managed to win two ribbons in two events, tomahawk throwing and two man saw. After the awards were handed out Lane noticed an error in the scoring, the trivia points had not been added to our patrols total, thus bumping us up from 11th place to 2nd place!!!! So another great victory for Troop 78!
I would like to say a big thank you to my fellow adults on this trip, Lane and Tom.
Tom you spoiled us in the mornings with real filtered coffee made on a camp stove. Great way to wake up in the morning.
To all the Camp Resolute alumni, you hosted and put together another fantastic weekend with fun games!!
Last night there was a camp wide game of manhunt which sounded like a lot of fun!
And On my Honour I swear to teach my Scouts how to strike a match!! Ha! ha! Ha!
See you all next year!!!
One more thing to any troops who were on the fence about going, please go it was brilliant!

Final post from Camp. Hanging out at the campsite. Last night we had closing the campfire ceremony and celebrated our Apache Relay win with the Troop 192 Norwell and Troop 1022 Weymouth. This morning we are all packed up and ready to leave. A little crazy at morning colours!
Had a wonderful week as usual. Thank you Camp Squanto!!
