The Fox Lake Preservation Organization is hosting a Garden Party at Town Park on Blackhawk Trail on Saturday, July 18, from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Enjoy a catered lunch from Fox Lake Lounge, take part in guided garden tours, and bring home a craft — plus all kinds of fun in between. Tickets are $25 per person.

📣 FLPO Annual Meeting – This Saturday!

All Fox Lake Preservation Organization members are encouraged to attend our Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 6 at 9:30 AM at the Fox Lake Town Hall.

We'll be sharing updates on healthy lake projects, fish stocking, membership, finances, community events, and other initiatives that support and improve Fox Lake.

Members will also have the opportunity to discuss and vote on proposed bylaw updates, elect Directors, and elect Board officers.

Your voice matters, and we hope you'll join us as we continue working together to protect and improve Fox Lake for future generations.

The Fox Lake Preservation Organization (FLPO) is looking for a new volunteer board member!

If you care about Fox Lake, enjoy community involvement, and want to help make a positive impact, we would love to talk with you.

Our board helps support lake preservation efforts, community initiatives, membership growth, and projects that improve and protect the Fox Lake area. We are especially looking for someone interested in helping with grant writing efforts to support future FLPO projects and initiatives.

You do not need prior board experience—just a willingness to help, contribute ideas, and support our mission.

This is a great opportunity to:

HELP WANTED! Annual FRIENDS OF THE LAKE Outing – Saturday, June 20, 2026

A BRIEF HISTORY: February 1991 the FLPO Board was asked if they would sponsor a “Handicapped Outing” (a fishing and social event). As reported in the Fox Lake Tides (August 1991) “no-one knew what to expect, or how to go about doing this major task. But we said “YES” if [the person making the request] would be able to line up the people, we somehow would be able to pull this off.” The first Friends of the Lake outing was held that June. The Tides reports: “WHAT A SPECIAL DAY THIS TURNED OUT TO BE.”

The FLPO Friends outing is a favorite social event of The Arc of Dodge County Inc.*, whose mission is “to advocate for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.” Our special guests enjoy a full morning of boating (fishing too), an early afternoon lunch and an unforgettable time of fellowship.

Head over to Town Park (Blackhawk Trail) Saturday, June 20, about 9:30 a.m. to meet and greet our awesome guests. Stay for boating and for lunch and a memorable time of fellowship with our friends-of-the-lake. Join us!

It takes many helpers to assure our friends are warmly welcomed and comfortably catered to. So, here’s an invitation to participate in this extraordinary social event!

We will need: Pontoon boats-drivers & hosts; kitchen crew-food preparers & servers; and dock-side attendants.

Spring is in the air on Fox Lake, and we’re gearing up for another great season! Here’s a quick look at what your FLPO Board has been working on.

🚧 Top Projects Identified for 2026
Based on member survey feedback (172 responses!), the board will focus on:
* Bike & Walking Path along Hwy 33
* Bog Staking near County A Bridge

🪧 New Boat Launch Signs
New lake information signs are complete, and the City has agreed to install them this spring (THANK YOU!) at Town Park and Clausen Park.

🧪 Lake Health Monitoring
The DNR will be sampling Fox Lake for legacy phosphorus to better understand long-term water quality trends. FLILPARD is leading this important initiative.

🎣 Fish & Lake Management

🐟 2026 Fall Fish Stocking Plan Approved
$8,000 for Walleye
$8,000 for Perch
$2,500 for Musky
(No crappie stocking this year)

Good news from Town Park: new pier bumpers have been installed at the boat launch thanks to the Fox Lake Preservation Organization. These simple but effective bumpers protect boats from exposed metal posts and make loading/unloading safer for everyone.
