We didn’t build this tournament just to play golf.

A portion of every entry goes back home — to two causes right here in eastern North Carolina.

Because of the sponsors who backed the 2026 Old North Invitational, we are able to do something much bigger than hand out trophies. With their support, we are directly funding a full year of weekend meals for a local student through CHEW—or ensuring 50 kids in Onslow County don’t go hungry when school lets out on Friday. http://uwonslow.org

We’re also stepping into the gap for Kennedy Home in Kinston. They are a part of the Baptist Children’s Homes ministry that has been giving vulnerable kids a safe, family-style place to land since 1885. The battlefield is quiet now, but for two days, Reedy Creek was an absolute warzone. ⛳️⚔️

40 men. Two teams. One mission. The inaugural Old North Invitational was exactly what we envisioned when we started Iron & Pine. We built this to get guys out of isolation, back into a community, and give them something real to compete for.

The standard for 2027 has officially been set.

But the score isn’t the story. The story is guys who deployed together seeing each other for the first time in years — and guys who’d never met walking off 18 as friends. That’s what this was built for.
