Our Vision: Provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives. Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing.

Our Mission: To develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on our Six Philosophies. AYSO’s Six Philosophies
These are living tenets that separate AYSO from other sports organizations:

Everyone Plays®
Every player on every team must play at least 50 percent of every game. It's no fun to spend the game on the bench and that's no way to learn soccer! Balanced Teams
Teams are balanced to make playing soccer about the experience, not wins or losses. This way, we teach children about good sportsmanship and learning to be the best possible teammate and opponent. By focusing on player development over winning, AYSO is truly child-first and child-focused. Open Registration
Our program is open to all children who want to register and play soccer. There are no eliminations or try-outs, nobody gets cut. Positive Coaching
Encouragement of player effort provides for greater enjoyment for the players and leads to better-skilled and better-motivated players. AYSO requires coaches to create a positive experience for every child. Good Sportsmanship
We strive to create a positive environment based on mutual respect rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude, and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO. Player Development
All players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their enjoyment of the game.

3 female youth referees spotted in the wild!

Strong, confident, and making a difference on the field! We love seeing our girls step up, learn the game from a whole new perspective, and lead by example.

Future leaders. Future referees. Our Foster City AYSO family.

Coaches Teske squared are taking “family coaching” to the next level! They’re a sibling duo—a brother and sister team—coaching his daughter, aka her niece!

From the sidelines to the soccer field, this family is making memories, sharing their love of the game, and showing us what community soccer is all about!

We love seeing soccer bring families together!
