Pregnancy can bring many changes, emotions, and uncertainties, but you do not have to navigate them alone. The Family Resource Centers at Iris are here to support expectant families every step of the way.

Through our Prenatal Support Program, families can connect with a Prenatal Program Navigator who helps parents learn what to expect during pregnancy while connecting them with helpful resources and support.

Parenting is life's hardest job and Family Resource Centers at Iris are here to make sure parents feel supported. Our FRCs in Fort Wayne and Auburn regularly host Parent Support Groups where you can discuss your experience and hear from other parents.

Allen County Groups:
Spanish Speaking - Mondays, 2-3
English Speaking - Tuesday, 1-2

DeKalb County Groups:
Daytime - Thursday, 2-3
Evening - First & third Thursday of each month, 4:30-5:30

The power of partnership and community cannot be underestimated! Just last week at the Allen County Family Resource Center on the Bridge of Grace Ministries campus, we witnessed these incredible outcomes for children and families in our community:

- We celebrated nine moms last week as they graduated from our Prenatal Program at the Allen County Family Resource Center in partnership with Parkview Health Community Nursing!

- As a result of our recent Community Baby Shower, 22 expectant mothers are enrolling into the Prenatal Program according to their due dates. We are getting more referrals for this program each day!

- Last week, we served 24 families at the Wellness Wednesday Clinic hosted at the Family Resource Center in partnership with Parkview Community Nursing and Alliance Health Centers. This is an opportunity for individuals to connect with medical professionals and learn about healthy resources and habits in a laid-back atmosphere. Of these 24 families, nine people were there for the first time, showing how the program is growing in our community. One prenatal mom shared symptoms with the nurse that led to a quick diagnosis for a UTI and kidney infection. As a result, she received the care she needed, and baby remains happy and healthy!
