The District 8 Youth & Young Adult Jobs Program is an initiative expected to connect participating teens and young adults (ages 18-24) to paid part-time and full-time employment opportunities, including Maryland registered apprenticeships, on-the-job training opportunities, and internships, with compensation between $16 and $18 per hour, as well as additional workforce development opportunities throughout the year.

The Prince George's County Police Athletic League is proud to offer the PAL Skills & Drills Summer Basketball Academy to boys and girls, ages 6 to 12 years old.

Each clinic will consist of drills to improve basketball fundamentals. Topics covered will include ball handling, passing, shooting, footwork, conditioning, rebounding, offense, and defense. The camp will also focus on core character values such as respect, sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy living.
