Following the cancellation of Joel Chasnoff’s upcoming performance at the Barrymore Film Center, Joel wanted to share a personal message with everyone who was looking forward to the show.

Dear friends,

I was so looking forward to performing for you tomorrow night at the Barrymore Film Center….Unfortunately, I’m dealing with an illness that came unexpectedly and has overwhelmed me in a way that I wasn’t prepared for. I’m on the road to recovery, so things are looking bright for a reschedule of this show at the Barrymore. This week, though, it simply couldn’t happen. Please know that I truly value your interest….and I can’t wait to perform live for you.

As mentioned, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performance. Ticket holders can also receive a complimentary junior popcorn by showing their original ticket at the event. Those who prefer a refund may contact the Barrymore Film Center.

Join us November 13 & 14 for the Barrymore Film Center's 4th Annual Short Film Festival, a two-day celebration of creativity, storytelling, and the filmmakers bringing fresh perspectives to the big screen!

Experience three exciting screening blocks featuring a diverse selection of independent short films, from compelling narratives to imaginative storytelling and thought-provoking cinema.

And there's more to enjoy beyond the screen! Dinner will be served Friday evening, followed by a continental breakfast on Saturday morning to kick off another day of incredible films.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Joel Chasnoff’s upcoming performance at the Barrymore Film Center scheduled for 10/29/26 has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a date this spring, to be announced.
