Election Training with the below Zero BBQ at the Guru of Election Training home.

Associate Chapter Adviser & Legendary Election Trainer, Scott Betlach, hosted the 2026 Northern Lakes Chapter Team at his humble home. Associate Chapter Adviser & Medicine Woman, Jody Betlach, was a grand co-host.

Election Chair Oliver L. will unleash his team of trained youth onto the Chapter this week.

R.I.P. David L. Moore (1936 ~ 2025). Mr. Moore was the Camp Director at Camp Ajawah where we held our traditional Many Waters Chapter Fall Conclaves. We along with the other Chapters who used your grand camp with miss your hospitality & kindness.

Thank you kindly for all that you have done for Scouting & the youth. You will never be forgotten.

David L. Moore (1936 - 2025) - Camp Director, Scoutmaster, Westminster Member, Friend

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David L. Moore. Dave was a son, brother, uncle, friend, and honorary father and grandfather to thousands. He was a teacher, coach, author, mentor, adventurer, and advocate.

From gazing into the sky above Linwood Lake, pointing out the constellations for campers, to riding the streetcars in Minneapolis as a kid on his way to Scout meetings, Dave taught us all about friendship and connection with those around us and with nature.

He encouraged us to find and cultivate our authentic selves.

We thank you, Dave, for empowering us to take chances, push our limits, and question the world around us.

We know that you’re warm in your sleeping bag, surrounded by the acorns falling from overhead, hearing the taps of rain on a canvas tent, and listening as loons sing their echo into the night.

As you loved us, we love you.
