I owe myself an apology.

I had no business making a turkey salad sandwich so good I went back and made another.

Add half a papaya and, well, well… apparently this is how I prepare for a morning’s volunteer work.

Now that I’m overly fueled, it’s time to get busy raising support for a cause I care a whole lot about, preserving the Fallsvale Old Stone Schoolhouse.

Okay, sandwich. You’ve had your moment. Now, where did I put the spoon for my papaya? 💕

Did you know?

For years, I have dedicated myself to preserving the Fallsvale Old Stone Schoolhouse, the very school I attended as a child. As a historian and author, I've spent years researching its history, developing preservation plans, meeting with decision-makers, building community support, and working to ensure this remarkable landmark can one day become a historical museum and after-school learning center.

This is not a project that just began. It has been years in the making.

Today, we are the nonprofit dedicated to carrying that work forward.

Your gift provides the resources we need to continue this long-standing effort and move the preservation of the Fallsvale Old Stone Schoolhouse closer to reality.

I invite you to become a Friend of the Fallsvale Schoolhouse. Together, we can preserve this irreplaceable piece of our community's history for generations to come.

P.S. That's me on the far right in the class photo, standing in the Fallsvale Old Stone Schoolhouse where I was a student. I could never have imagined then that one day I'd help lead the effort to preserve it for future generations. I hope you'll join me and the Board of Directors by becoming a Friend of the Fallsvale Schoolhouse.
