🏆 End-of-Season Tournament Draw Announcement 🏆

Attention FYSL families and players!

The tournament draw for our 3rd-4th Grade and 5th-7th Grade divisions will take place this Saturday at approximately 10:30 AM at the shed, between the two scheduled games for those divisions.

Tournament brackets will be determined by a random draw. In each division, two teams will be randomly selected to play in a play-in game, while the remaining three teams will be placed into the bracket based on the order they are drawn.

Players, families, and coaches are welcome to attend and watch the drawing, but attendance is not required.

Good luck to all of our teams as we get ready for tournament play! ⚽️

FYSL would like to apologize for the lack of field lines lately… Our field liner unexpectedly quit on us. No two-week notice, no warning… just packed it up and said, “I’m done.”

The good news? We’ve hired a replacement! 🙌 A brand-new liner has been delivered, and our line game is about to be back on point.

Thanks for sticking with us through our “minimalist field marking” era. We promise lined field days are ahead!

With warmer temps rolling in this week, please make sure players arrive at practices and games with plenty of water and are ready to hydrate often. Coaches will be encouraging water breaks, but sending a full water bottle is the real MVP move!

Hot weather + soccer = extra thirsty athletes. Let’s keep our players safe, fueled, and ready to have fun!

In order to preserve the fields, all practices are CANCELLED tonight due to rain and field conditions. We appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility while we wait for an actual stretch of dry weather ☀️ IT IS COMING!!!
