IBEW Local 351 provides a highly-skilled Electrical Workforce to all of Southern New Jersey. This means you receive the highest quality craftsmanship with on-time and on-budget projects. Local 351’s Apprenticeship Training Program also ensures that the next generation of Electrical Workers will be as highly skilled and qualified as the last generation. There are Ten specialty areas where you will

find the members of IBEW Local 351, each best described by the type of work done:

Inside Wiremen are electrical workers who install the power, lighting, controls, as well as security control systems and other electrical equipment in commercial and industrial buildings. Outside Linemen are the electrical workers who install the distribution and transmission lines, which move power from power plant to a factory, a business or your home. Construction Wiremen are electrical workers who specialize in installing all of the electrical systems in single-family, multi-family houses or dwellings, and small commercial buildings. Telecommunications Technicians are workers who install equipment for telephones, computer networks, video distribution systems, and other low voltage systems. Sign Wiremen and Fabricators are electrical workers who fabricate and install electric signs such as neon, matrix, and all other types of electrical based signage. Lightning rod installers are workers who are specially trained in the protection of property and equipment from lightning strikes. Line clearance are workers who perform the task of keeping the energized utility lines cleared from coming in contact with branches causing electrical outages. Maintenance workers maintain the various electrical systems in commercial facilities. Crane operators work with utility companies in the installation and maintenance of transmission lines and switch yards. Administrative Technician work in both public and private offices covering a broad range of job classifications within the companies they serve.

OPERATION STRONGER TOGETHER CLOTHING DRIVE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

The clothing drive collected 3554 pounds of clothes, 212 pairs of shoes, two large bags with scarves and gloves, and one large bag of backpacks.

Huge thank you to volunteers and contributors from IBEW Local 351, UA Local 322, IW Local 399, Carpenters Local 255, IUPAT DC 21, The Bird Cage of Ocean City, Heart’s Therapeutic Riding Center, OH Drama Hair Salon, Mt. Royal Loyalists Dragon Boat Team, and all the neighbors and families who made generous donations.

Friday, November 14th at 8:45am, Business Manager Dan Cosner will present a check from the membership of Local 351 to Philabundance live on air at the Preston and Steve show on 93.3 WMMR. This is the 3rd consecutive year Local 351 will support the Camp Out for Hunger campaign. All monies raised go to feed local families in need. If you would like to donate, follow the link below to support our team!

Philabundance is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductable as allowed by law.
