What a wonderful Evening at Jimmy Sturr’s house! We played some fun games and had intimate conversations with Jimmy. The Florida Chamber of Commerce presented Jimmy with a map and listing of all the places that he’s played in the US, and Mayor Harter announced that Maple Avenue with be honorarily renamed after Jimmy Sturr with a dedication on September 26th at 1PM. Thank you to Jimmy and Barbara for hosting us, Donna and Terra for MCing, Tommy Conklin for the sound, Amanda at Table 21 for the delicious food, to the many people and business that donated libations and memorabilia prizes, John Augustyn for the large dry tent, and to the many Chamber volunteers that donated their time to create this fun event for the community.
