Cheshire Home residents are officially back on the diamond for a second year playing in the adaptive softball league organized by DAWN Center for Independent Living, and if last week’s game was any indication, this season is going to be fun! 💙
From rolling up to the plate and making big plays to cheering teammates on from the sidelines, the field was full of laughter, teamwork, and those moments that remind us that sports are about so much more than the score.
What makes this league so special is that it is all about inclusion, community, confidence-building and friendship. Everyone gets the chance to be part of the action and our residents showed up, ready to play.
Huge shoutout to the players, staff, volunteers, and supporters who make these nights possible. We’re excited for another summer filled with softball, smiles, and unforgettable memories. Let the season begin! 🌟
⚾ Join the fun every Tuesday night through August 25, from 4:30 – 8:30 at Challenger Field at Central Park of Morris County, 91 Central Avenue, Morris Plains. Please like, comment and share this post to help spread the word.
