The Stand Fast Project The Stand Fast Project is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization We do this by providing clothes, shoes, food, essential items, referrals, etc.

*What we do:
We provide assistance to keep our community out of homeless & poverty situations.

*How do we do this? In addition we assist with applying for government assistance, employment, transitional shelter, or safe housing. Our communities have endured many hardships during and prior to the current Covid-19 Pandemic. Those in need require additional resources to aid in their economic recover

y. The assistance most required are clothes, shoes, non-perishable foods, personal items and much more. You can come here to help & be helped. Your volunteer work and donations will assist greatly in getting our communities back to a positive status. As a non-profit, we depend heavily on the support of each and every one of you. You can volunteer, share and like our social media pages to get the word out, say a prayer for those we are assisting or simply just cheer us on! Thank you in advance for your continued support.

🌸 A Heartfelt Thank You from The Stand Fast Project 🌸

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, The Stand Fast Project had the honor of hosting our very first Mother’s Day Luncheon (“Because Of Her,” Mother’s Day Luncheon ) and what a beautiful and meaningful experience it was!

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out to celebrate and show appreciation for the incredible mothers and mother figures in our community. Your presence helped make this event truly special.

A very special thank you to our amazing board members for your dedication, hard work, and commitment in bringing this event together. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. We also extend our gratitude to our IT specialist Lady Lux for ensuring the music and video elements added such a special touch to the day.

We would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful ladies and children (Sandra Gamble, Barnes Joy, Tamara Hodge-Williams, Pamela Powell, Vicki Harpe, Nomble Cooper, Porche Taylor) who helped put together a beautiful video for the mothers. Your time, creativity, and love added something truly special and memorable to this celebration.

Mothers and mother figures hold a powerful and irreplaceable role in our lives. They nurture, guide, uplift, and love unconditionally. They deserve to be recognized, celebrated, and appreciated not just on Mother’s Day—but every day. This event was a reminder of just how special and valued they truly are.

Even with the rain, nothing could stop the purpose we set out to fulfill—and that was to celebrate mothers. And that, we did with joy, love, and unity.

Thank you all for being a part of something so meaningful. 💐

On October 22, we encourage everyone to wear and share orange as a powerful symbol of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
