Fishers High School Tiger Band

The program is led by band directors Chad Kohler, Todd McCready and Charles Kunz. The Winterguard is a WGI World Finalist and IHSGA State Finalist

The Fishers High School Band Program is a comprehensive music program that has grown to involve over 400 students every year involved in 5 concert bands, jazz and percussion class, pep band, lab band, two winter guards. The program began in 2006, with the opening of Fishers High School, the second of two high schools in the Hamilton Southeastern School district in Fishers, Indiana. The band progra

m provides students with a rich array of musical instruction and mentoring, through both classroom concert bands and after school activities such as marching band, jazz band, and ensemble performances. The marching TIGER Band is an ISSMA State Finalist and Bands of America Regional Finalist. The Percussion ensemble is a five time Indiana Percussion Association State Champion, WGI World Finalist and performed for the Madonna Super Bowl Halftime show hosted at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Today we celebrate the incredible Class of 2026 and especially our graduating seniors from the Fishers High School Tiger Band and Guard programs. 🎓

Over the years you've filled our halls, field and stands with passion and dedication. You've led by example, supported your peers and helped shape the traditions and spirit that make our program so special.

While we're sad to see you go, we're excited to see where your next chapter takes you. Whether you're heading to college, into a career, joining the military or pursuing a dream of your own, know that the friendships you've built and the memories you've made here at FHS will stay with you forever.

Thank you for your commitment, your leadership and the countless moments that have made us proud to call you Tigers. CONGRATULATIONS!

We need a show shirt for the '26-27 marching season!

This contest is open to Fishers HS students in the 2026-2027 school year.

$100 prize to the winner.

Interested students can email Mr. Gardner ([email protected]) for information about the show to help inform their design choices.

Designs due to Mr. Gardner ([email protected]) by 2:00pm on Friday, June 26th.

The use of AI is strictly prohibited.

The Directors reserve the right to change or alter a design to align more closely with the show. Directors may also elect to not choose a submitted design and move forward with other options.

From Mr. Gardner ... Congratulations to the Fishers High School Wind Ensemble on being named the State Runner-Up and giving an incredible performance at ISSMA Concert Band Finals!

The group was exceptionally talented and it was an honor to be able to stand in front of them. They played a very difficult and diverse program of concert band literature including:

🌟The end of the school year brings with it a lot of celebrations of accomplishments. On Monday evening, we celebrated our Concert World ensemble for their 1st place finish at the 2026 IPA Indiana Percussion State Finals

🐅We would like to thank HSE Superintendent, Dr. Kegley, Fishers High School Principal, Mr. Goodwin, and all of the administrators and school board members who celebrated our champions from this past season. No other district celebrates the achievements of academics, performing arts, and athletics together.

🦋Spring Community Concert at the Nickel Plate AMP - 7 PM, May 12th (This is a community event - food trucks, gathering on the lawn, honoring our seniors)
