Rain delays and all… it looks like we’re finally about to go racing at Watkins Glen!

The KFG Project is incredibly honored to have our logo riding with Jeremy Clements Racing today. Seeing the KFG name represented on the car is a powerful reminder of how far this mission has come.

Huge thank you to Ed Horne and the entire team for supporting KFG and helping us spread awareness for cancer patients, caregivers, veterans, first responders, and AYAs battling through life’s toughest moments.

We’re also proud to have KFG Board Member and oncology therapist Elena Nazario representing KFG in the pits today.

To lower your risk, “maintain a healthy weight; eat a diet full of gut-friendly, high-fibre vegetables and whole grains; avoid to***co and processed meats; limit sugar; stay active. But here’s the essential thing that guys often don’t do: take notice of symptoms, especially persistent changes in bowel habits, and get them checked out right away.”

Today is World Cancer Day ❤️

Cancer impacts so much more than the body — it affects our minds, emotions, families, and everyday lives.

At the KFG Project, we believe in Mindset Over Mayhem — helping patients and caregivers stay strong mentally and emotionally through the chaos of a health crisis.

You are not alone in this fight.
We’re here to support you, listen, and walk beside you every step of the way.

If you or someone you love needs support, don’t hesitate to reach out. 💙

1️⃣ Some days you’re scared.
Some days you’re angry.
Some days you’re just exhausted.
Cancer burnout is real.
That doesn’t mean you’re failing.

2️⃣ You don’t owe anyone a positive mindset.
You’re allowed to be quiet.
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to say,
“I can’t today.”

3️⃣ Mental strength with cancer
doesn’t mean pushing nonstop.
Sometimes strength is asking questions.
Sometimes it’s self-advocacy.
Sometimes it’s choosing rest.

4️⃣ You still get a say.
In your body.
In your treatment.
In your energy.

That’s part of coping with cancer, too.

🖤 And yeah…
hospital time is fake.
Five minutes feels like an hour.
If you know, you know.

You’re not broken for not being okay.
You’re responding to something that is actually hard.

🤍 KFG gets this.
No fixing. No hype. Just real support.

If you want someone who understands AYA cancer mindset,
DM or comment SUPPORT
and a real person will reach out.

You don’t have to feel better right now.
You just have to be here, as you are.

It’s almost New Year’s.

Everyone else is talking about fresh starts and big plans.
And you’re still counting treatments, appointments, side effects, energy.

If you’re a young adult in cancer treatment, this time of year can feel especially lonely.
Like your life is paused while everyone else keeps moving.

Not dramatic.
Not hopeless.
Just heavy.

A lot of people your age say the same thing.
They’re always the youngest in the room.
People don’t know what to say.
So they say nothing.

Here’s what matters.
You’re not meant to do this alone.

Support does not have to mean fixing you or forcing positivity.
Sometimes it’s just someone walking with you through it.

That’s why KFG exists.

We support young adults and families navigating cancer with real, human help.
No pressure. No platitudes.

If this resonates and you want support, you can DM us.
🤍Even if you don’t know what to say yet.

Dark moments don’t mean your light is gone — they mean you need someone to help you find it again. 💙

At the KFG Project, our coaches walk beside warriors through the shadows of cancer and help them rediscover strength, clarity, and purpose.

You don’t have to navigate the storm alone.
Sometimes all it takes is someone holding the flashlight until you can hold it yourself.✨

💙 Lung Cancer Awareness Month

Lung cancer is the #1 cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., impacting many military members, veterans, first responders, and caregivers — often due to toxic exposure like burn pits.

At The KFG Project, we support those navigating the emotional and mental toll of cancer through free life coaching, helping families find strength and hope.

“Very likely would’ve been faced with Stage 4.”

KFG Project founder, Bill Phillips shared with NewsNation why delaying medical screenings — especially in the military and first responder communities — can be dangerous. Many service members push through symptoms out of fear of losing flight status, pay, or career opportunities.

Bill believes that if he had waited, his colorectal cancer would have been diagnosed much later.

Early detection saves lives.
Speaking up is strength — not weakness. 💙
