Our hearts are with the Missouri State Highway Patrol as they mourn the loss of one of their own. We extend our deepest condolences to the Trooper’s family, friends, brothers and sisters in uniform, and everyone impacted by this tragic loss.

Behind every badge is a human being carrying the weight of what they see, hear, and experience in service to others. Far too often, those struggles are carried silently.

We stand alongside the entire first responder community in reminding others that no one has to fight those battles alone. Mental health matters, and so does every life behind the uniform.

Please keep the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the loved ones of this Trooper in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

If you are struggling, reach out. Your life matters. Your story matters. And asking for help is never a sign of weakness.

Some conversations aren’t easy to have… but they’re the ones we need the most.
This latest episode of Kitchen Table Talk is raw, real, and unfiltered. We sat down with Mark Hanek to talk about PTSD, trauma, healing, vulnerability, and what it truly means to take care of yourself as a first responder.
Too many of us were taught to stay quiet, push through, and carry the weight alone. This conversation challenges that mindset and reminds us that healing starts when we’re willing to be honest.
If you’ve ever struggled in silence, felt overwhelmed, or questioned whether anyone else understands what you carry after the tones drop… this episode is for you.

We’re behind on episodes—and for that, we owe you an apology.
But this one… this one matters.

🎙️ NEW EPISODE: Resilience or Discipline

Recorded live at HOM Healing Center , this episode of Kitchen Table Talk is one of the rawest conversations we’ve had.
Tim Husereau shares his 828-day battle with long COVID—collapsing just trying to get out of bed, sleepless nights, hospital visits, and being told after $30,000 out-of-pocket that it was “just depression.”
This episode isn’t polished. It’s real.
It’s about: • Hitting rock bottom and finding a way back
• What happens when the system fails you
• The power of sitting in a room with people who understand
• Why discipline and resilience are built through failure
• And the truth about asking for help when you need it most
One question we want you to sit with: “Do I have discipline because I’m resilient… or am I resilient because I have discipline?”
If you’re a firefighter, EMT, law enforcement officer, dispatcher—or just someone carrying more than they show—this episode is for you.
You are not alone. There are people in your corner.
🎧 Listen now. Share it with someone who needs it.
