We live in a world that tells us we should feel good 100% of the time, but real growth happens in the messy, uncomfortable spaces in between.

Tonight at our All Recovery group in Elmdale Church of the Nazarene, we’re talking about the power of sitting with discomfort instead of running from it.

Come join a community where you don't have to pretend everything is perfect. What’s a healthy way you handle a tough day?

This is what recovery can look like.

Not hiding.
Not sitting alone.
Not waiting for life to get better someday.

Showing up. Connecting. Laughing. Listening to music. Bringing the kids. Making memories.

All pathways are welcome. Families are welcome. Come as you are.

Stay Sober Not Boring !

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all.

AA and 12-step recovery have helped a lot of people. I’ll never take that away from anybody.

For some people, the rooms saved their life.

The meetings.

The steps.

The sponsor.

The community.

That was the foundation.

But that’s not everybody’s story.

Some people find recovery through treatment.

Some through faith.

Some through medication-assisted treatment.

Some through counseling.

Some through peer support.

Some through fitness, recovery housing, harm reduction, community, or a mix of all of it.

At Outreach 419, we believe an all-pathways approach doesn’t mean AA is wrong.

It means recovery is bigger than one doorway.

The question should not be:

“Are you doing recovery my way?”

The question should be:

“Is this helping you stay alive, get healthier, rebuild your life, and stay connected?”

That’s what matters.

What pathway helped you the most? What has helped you move forward in your recovery?

Drop it below.

You never know who needs to hear your experience.

What happens when your growth turns into ego?
