Part of leading an Eagle Scout project is learning to roll with the unexpected!
The plan was for a full day of heavy lifting, but some contractors beat our crew to part of it. That didn’t stop this Scout and his volunteers from getting to work.
An Eagle Scout project is about much more than the work itself. The Scout finds the project, develops a documented plan, gets approvals, raises the funds, recruits and leads volunteers, adapts when plans change, carries out the project and follows it through to completion.
Today, Troop 45's Eagle-bound Scout lead the cleanup at Kenwood Church of Christ. His crew filled a dumpster, cleared the area around the Church's garage and made a big difference in a short amount of time. Many hands really do make light work!
