Fallston 6th grade girls travel basketball, running for a cause, supporting the Humane Society of Harford county in their first annual 5k . Taking 1st in her age bracket Eliza Smith and finishing 7th overall!!! We are so proud of our girls…way to represent!

This past Sunday marked an end of an Era. For 30 years, Mr. Bill Price has run the HS League through the Fallston Rec Council. Mr. Bill is retiring from this "high-paying" position after 30 years of hard work and dedication. Fallston Rec Basketball and the Fallston Rec Council are forever grateful for all of his years of service to the Community.

Every Sunday, boys from throughout the County would bring their team to play basketball in a competitive and controlled environment. The league provides an opportunity for those boys in HS that do not play on their HS teams and have aged out of the Rec programs to continue to enjoy the game. This year there were 14 teams that participated, a record number. We are excited to be able to keep the league moving forward after Mr. Bill's retirement.

Please wish Mr. Bill well in his retirement. Something tells me we will see him on Sundays next year watching games from the sidelines.

It's volunteers like Mr. Bill that make our programs run. We are always looking for more Mr. Bills 😃
