Baldwin Humane Society The Baldwin Humane Society, formerly BARC, is a no-kill adoption agency. Established in 1979. Pet homelessness continues to be an issue all over Baldwin County.
(350)

Established in 1979, we were the first animal advocacy group in Baldwin County. Our goal is to eliminate the number of abused and abandoned pets through spay/neuter, education, rescue and adoption. As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, we rely entirely upon donations and do not receive any government funding. We rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for hundreds of abused, abandoned and neglected pets annually. The Baldwin Humane Society is dedicated to working with individuals in the public as well as other local organizations to provide programs like low cost spay/neuter vouchers, our adoption and foster program, public medical assistance, trap-neuter-return services for feral cats, and more!

Dolores is wondering why such a well-mannered old lady like herself is still waiting for a home. 🙁

Dolores is a super sweet 10 year old senior who loves her naps as well as chasing tennis balls. She is great on leash, and is completely house-trained. She's fantastic with kids, dogs, and cats.

If you'd like to meet Dolores, fill out our application here:

Introducing Sharkboy and Lavagirl!

They are 9 week old terrier/hound mixes looking for a loving home. We estimate they will grow up to be between 35-45 pounds when fully grown. They are both sweethearts, Lavagirl being a little more outgoing and playful than her brother who is more of a lover.

We will cover their vet costs until they're old enough to be fixed.

Please fill out our adoption application here if you would like to come meet them:
