School is back in session! 🔔🎒

While many children look forward to a new school year, a fresh start isn't the same for every child.

For children in foster care, school transitions are often marked by unexpected placement moves. Every time a child changes schools, they risk losing the vital connections they have built with teachers, friends, and support programs. These educational disruptions can have a profound impact on both their academic success and their emotional well-being.

This is where a CASA volunteer makes a difference. Our advocates stand up for educational rights, champion the child's needs through transitions, and ensure they have access to the resources they need to support their learning.

You can be a consistent adult a student needs to thrive this school year.

Thank you to the Bito family for their generous donation of food, games and prizes for the youth who attended. Much appreciation to a generous CASA supporter for allowing us the use of their beautiful outdoor space so we can provide a day of fun in the sun for the youth we serve- thank you!!

⭐️What a great afternoon at our Open House! ⭐️
Thank you to everyone who came by, took a tour and learned more about our program. Much appreciation to our community partners who stopped by to say "Hello" and meet the staff that works passionately to ensure each child we serve is felt seen and heard by a special advocate.
💙We are as strong as the ties we have in the community. Special thank you to the Fairfield Fire Chief and Police Chief for taking the time to learn more - they both walked away with new information and an appreciation for all that our CASAs do.
