Ahoy Ship Mates,
May and June were busy for the Sea Scouts, they continued to work on rank advancement with a focus on Flag Etiquette and Maritime traditions. The Scouts have been working on the Cal 31 sailboat and prepping their knowledge of sailing as well as sailing skills.
The Scouts had the opportunity to go rowing with the Infinity Dragon Boat Row Team in Suisun, I was told it was an 11 out of 10 on the fun scale. Thank you to the Infinity Dragon Boat Row Team for hosting the Sea Scouts.
A big thank you to our Chief Engineer Al McLemore for the repairs he did to our defunct canoe and for the ongoing effort with the Delta Mariner! Also, a huge shout out to all my wonderful leaders as well as the Independent Order of Odd Fellows #78 for their continued support. Last but certainly not least thank you to our Charter Organization the Solano Yacht Club for all their support.
