Our Lions, Tigers and Wolves would like to say thank you to several people tonight. We would like to thank everyone who donated to our community giveaway tonight and our food drive last night. Thanks to your kindness and generousity we were able to donate another 3 carts full of food and some toletries to the Fairborn FISH pantry! So far this year we have donated 5 grocery carts full so thank you!

We would also like to say thank you to the scouts and parents who showed up tonight and helped out with the distribution. It was such a success that several have said we should do it again next year!

And finally, we wanted to say thank you to the families who came out and let us help you make your holiday season a little bit more magical. Thanks for trusting us to be there for you. We were left with just a few clothes and kids shoes, which will be donated to another organization to pass along as well! You brought a smile to our faces, a happy tear to our eyes and warmth in our hearts this holiday season and we are happy to do it for you again!

Giving out donated items to those in need!

Hi all, there’s just a few more days to help our collection drive for people in need! If this is you, please read to the end of the post.

If you have any of the following items you want to get rid of, please send us an email us at [email protected] or text (937) 524-1940 with your address to have us pick up your donation before December 17, 2025.

We are collecting and distributing the following items (if we have any to give out):

-Unopened non-perishable food (including pet food), household cleaners, and toiletries to be donated to the Fairborn FISH Food Pantry.

-clothes and shoes in kids and adult sizes.

-toys and games

-books

-baby items

If you are needing a little bit of help with these items this year, please go to Abiding Christ Lutheran Church located at 326 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd between 5 and 8pm on December 19, 2025. Please enter through the front left hand side of the building go all the way down the hall and turn right, we have the items on display in the large Youth Room in the back right corner. Everything is going to be FREE to whoever needs it and will be on a first come first serve basis, but we don’t want to keep anything.

From the Parents, Scouts and Leaders of Pack 182, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season this year! No matter which holiday or religion you celebrate this month, we ask YOUR God to give you many blessings for protection, good health, financial stability, lifelong friendship, a loving family, food security and a warm bed to rest your head going into the New Year.

It’s Giving Tuesday and many of our scouts are doing collection drives this week for the families of Fairborn!

One den is teamed up with Town and Country Animal Clinic to collect pet food!

Other dens are collecting unopened food, household cleaners and toiletries for the FISH food pantry as well as new or gently used and CLEAN clothes and shoes in all sizes, toys/games, books, and baby items.

Interested in helping out?

Pet food can be donated at Town and Country Animal Clinic.

Everything else can be donated at a collection bin at the Fairborn Senior Center or Abiding Christ Lutheran Church or you can email [email protected] with your name, address and items being dropped off to schedule a pickup no later than December 10th.

Our Halloween party was another great success! We had a variety of rooms set up for the kids and adults to explore and have fun. We watched a short movie, got our fortunes read, made crafts, did blind touches of gross feeling things and had our ever popular dance party! Our leaders had fun dressing up too!

Regular den meetings resume this Thursday at 6pm!
