Yesterday, many of you followed along as we helped rescue the injured baby fawn. While he is now safe with a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, his care is just one small part of the incredible work she does every day.

Right now, she is caring for numerous orphaned and injured wildlife babies, all of whom require specialized food, supplies, and around-the-clock care. To help support her efforts, I've put together a small Amazon wish list with items that would be very helpful to her.

If you would like to help, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much to the wildlife babies currently in her care. Every item donated helps give these little ones a second chance.

I will also post her PayPal link when she gets back to me if anyone cares to send monetary donations.

We are so incredibly grateful for our village today 💛
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent packages for the kitties. Every donation that arrives here is immediately put to use—food for full bellies, supplies for healing, comfort for the scared and injured, and support for the ones still fighting their way back to health.
It truly takes a community to keep this rescue going, and we feel that support in every box that shows up at our door. These cats and kittens may have started their journey in hardship, but because of all of you, they are met with care, safety, and love instead.

Mama Grace is feeling extra cuddly this afternoon.
If you remember her story, she came to us after a hawk attack with severe injuries—deep talon wounds in her sides and a large wound on her back where tissue had been torn away. At the time, her recovery felt uncertain, but we knew she deserved a chance.
Today, seeing her relaxed, safe, and soaking up affection is nothing short of incredible. She has healed in ways we weren’t sure were possible, and she’s truly thriving now.
She still insists on keeping her opinions very strong about everyone else in the house—she’s not exactly a fan of other living things—but she does seem to reserve all her softness for me. I truly think this is her way of showing gratitude in her own little Mama Grace way. ♥️ I love Mama Grace

Update on the injured baby deer ❤️
We are grateful to share that he survived the night. While that is encouraging news, the first 72 hours after a severe head injury are critical, and he is not out of the woods yet.
Unfortunately, because he also has an open wound on his leg that needs time to heal, he will not be able to be reunited with his mother.
For now, he is safe in the hands of experienced wildlife rehabilitators who are giving him every chance possible. Please continue to keep this sweet boy in your thoughts and prayers as he fights to recover. Every prayer and positive thought is greatly appreciated. 🦌🙏
Later today, I will be sharing a wish list with items that can be sent directly to the wildlife rehabilitator helping him. These supplies will not only help with his care but also with the care of the many other orphaned and injured babies currently in her care. As always, thank you for your kindness, support, and compassion for wildlife.
